For a few months now I've been having stomach pain/ bloating, lower back pain, frequent urination and what seems like some kind of infection in my bladder but my doctor said it didn't seem to be infected. Anyone know what this could be??

my coworker was having those EXACT symptoms, and was just the other day diagnosed with a kidney infection. she was sent straight to the hospital. If your doctor has not already checked, you should definetely see if this could be whats wrong!

I think it sounds more like a problem with your kidneys-definately get it checked. the frequency of your urination seems to be a big tell tale sign.

I always get sore lower back pain before my period. My period is due in 10 days and today, im doubled over, like a very bent bananna and my stomach is extremley sore. I had to freeze my back , as I got fed up with the pain! Hopefully, youwill just have a little kidney infection . drink stacks of water to help clean it out! But if things persist Id definately go get it checked. Also, do you get slightly feverish-as this is another sign of a kidney infection. i sweat loads-and if I get any worse I will go and see my doctor as this is very painful. Hope Ive helped.

The other thing-as I note someone suggested it might be ovarian cancer-are you male or female? If it isnt your kidneys-not that im a professional -it may be a cyst! If your symptoms get worse -get it checked!

i have had the same symptoms as most of you. I have not felt right for about week now, i was on the pill cerazette for about 4 months and stopped taking it about 6 weeks ago, not felt the same since to be honest. Having looked at other forums, this was quite common, having a bloated stomach, but have only started having what i can only describe as a dull ache, mainly on my left side which then has gone to my lower back, feel tired, just do not feel myself at all. I am 42 yrs old and i am quite worried that i may have ovarian cancer, as all these symptoms seem to suggest it could be. Ihad my last period on the 22nd march which lasted only abt 4 days, but my last one when i was on the pill lasted over 2 weeks but put that down to the pill. Anyone have any ideas?? i am going to make an appointment to see a dr tues

it could be your kidneys as you say you have lower back pain Or it could be a cyst in your ovaries? Try not to think the worst , doctors do that for you! Chin up! If its just a dull pain heres hoping it might just pas.Mines not so dull anymore-but still hoping it may pass! take care.

hi there... for the past 2 days i have been experiencing alot of abdomable pain at night and early when i wake up... its been getting worse and now i have noticed im gaining weight and my lower back is starting to hurt... i feel the need to urinate every 5 minutes and i also have alot of pressure in my chest almost like i have to vomit... I've looked up everything and this could range from early trimester of pregnancy (took a test and it said no) to a cyst or ovairan cancer to kidney disorders to bladder infections... I am prone to bladder infections and this is nothing to what im used to... Im heading to the doctors in the morning to see what is wrong and i will post what the doctor has ddiagnosed.

I had hysteretomy about 7 years ago and for the pas 3 days I've been haveing right sharp pain like I would have a knife stuck there i have my ovaries.

%-) I've been having lower back pain, lower stomach pain, its like i'm gonna have my period.. and its like having cramps. everytime i go to the bathroom to poo... and i wipe.. i peek, i see blood, and in the toilet. and like a month ago i think..... i had lot of blood.......and also like almost the end of march, after i take a shower.. there's blood dripping on my legs. that was march 31st.

I've had these same symptoms for abou 8 months, except I also stopped getting my period. My last period was October, 2010. I'm 30 so know Im too young for menopause. I had a papsmear done and am waiting for the results. If any of u with these symptoms have gotten a diagnosis please share, I'm so worried I have cancer. I have 3 young boys and am absolutely terrified. When I do get my results I wil post it here for anyone else looking.

Most of these symptoms sound like ovarian cysts. These cysts can be painful and even cause bleeding. These are most common when ovulating. Treatment is just ibuprophen but if it gets intense then go to to the doctor and get an ultrasound.

I (31 year old male) was experiencing constant bloating, frequent/urges to urinate, extreme pain after urination, and a general feeling of being unwell for the past 6 years. I saw 7 doctors, all of whom said the tests are negative, it's all in your head/stress related. But I knew it was not.

After much research I decided to start experimenting with my diet/understanding of my food intake. I began to cut out certain foods for various lengths of time and then reintroduce them gradually to see if I could replicate/bring on the pain. Long story short I discovered the culprit.

MILK. Milk and other dairy products in large quantities caused these intense bouts of pain/discomfort. Over the past few weeks my body has normalized, and my standard of day-to-day life has drastically improved.

I am extremely dissapointed in the doctors I saw as not one of them linked my pains to food/lifestyle. They always suspected infection/std. "Here take these antibiotics".

Do yourself a favour and try what I did. Food/drink keep us alive, and they also tell us a lot about our bodies tolerances/desires.

Hiya , Did you ever find out what your pain was , I have a condition in my womb/ovaries/bowl and Ive now been feelin these paion's for quite sometime. Only this pain is so unlike the one Im used to I bled for 8 week's, then stopped for a week , bled again last week and stopped for 3 day's and I am now bleeding again and have the lower back pain , swollen stomache to the point I look 6 month's pregnant , very tired , and the bleeding ? Im going to try and see the doctor tomarrow , any idea's ?

You may have uterine fibroid cysts. Ones that are large enough to keep you bleeding so long. you need to get tested for being anemic. And see a GYN for surgery. Hysterectomy or removal of the cyst.
Either way. You need it fixed. This won't go away.
Oh make sure you're not pregnant first. Despite commonly held beliefs- you can bleed some when you're pregnant. And it may or may not be detrimental to the child.
